These terms apply to yofinders.com. By using the site or registering an item, you agree to them.

Who we are

YoFinders is run by its founders until YOFINDERS LTD, a UK company being incorporated, is registered. We will update these terms when it is.

Pre-launch status

YoFinders has not launched yet. The site describes a service we are preparing. Features and timings may change before launch.

No payment on this site

We take no payment on this website. It never asks for card or bank details.

Reserving the founding price

Registering an item reserves the founding price, and any free starter tag, offered on the site when you register. It is not a purchase. You are not obliged to pay or subscribe. You can cancel your reservation at any time by writing to us.

Tags and service

Tags and the YoFinders service will be provided when we launch. We will e-mail you when tags ship, with the terms that apply to the service.

Rewards

A reward amount you enter when registering is an indication only. Nothing is charged for it. The rules for rewards, including when a finder qualifies and how rewards are paid, will be set out at launch. Rewards will be held by a licensed payment partner. Until then, no reward is paid through the website.

Using the finder page

The finder page exists to return lost items to their owners. When you use it:

• report only an item you have actually found;
• give your own, correct contact details;
• do not make false reports, and do not use the page to harass, deceive or defraud anyone;
• do not try to disrupt or misuse the site.

We may ignore or remove reports that break these rules.

Liability

We provide the site as it is while we prepare for launch. We cannot guarantee that a lost item will be found or returned. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including dealings between owners and finders. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.
